"A student of Method acting does not receive a degree in his studies after a set length of time .There is no set time which states when the actor’s ‘’instrument’’ is ready for practical use. Stanislavsky Method of acting involves a lifetime of work and study. Some phases of Method can be grasped almost immediately and readily applied while other phases may involve problems of a personal nature and may take several years of training and study to resolve.
It clearly depends on the individual ."

The development of 'the method' arose from the workings of Konstantin Stanislavsky in the early 1900's, who formulated one of the first concise actors' approaches to training called 'the system'. Following Stanislavsky's death, Lee Strasberg continued along the same train of thought in his approach to acting, which led to 'the'. Strasberg's aim was to develop the actor's creative expressiveness, in part, by increasing his awareness and concentration both on a physical and emotional level, enabling the actor to 'live through'. The workshop will explore step-by-step 'the method' which includes:relaxation, concentration, imagination, sense memory, improvisations, the creation of the truth and the creation of the character.
.
People who are not professional actors will benefit hugely from learning "acting techniques" in various moments of their business and personal lives. Because everyone knows "what they are" is not necessarily "what they need to be". Through 'the method' you will learn to stay calm, concentrate, and communicate clearer and better.

Nesley has been a committed student of ¨Art of Riding,¨ an equestrian training method employed by Minette Rice-Edwards who uses the ¨Alexander Tecnique¨ in training riders and performers.
"Discovering that training techniques in theatre such as method, movement, grounding, and Alexander are readily transferable to various equestrian disciplines, both in and out of saddle, has opened up new possibilities for me in working within myself on stage as well as training others."
